Because of your support, the first annual "Barn Raiser" enabled us to fund a complete wish and finish our second project for the fall...

"Project Hope"

Project Hope worked hand in hand with Hearts and Crafts Counseling Services to lend a smile to a child in our county that found themselves in the unfortunate circumstance of losing a loved one.

Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Middle Schoolers, Kindergarteners, you name it, passionately created one of a kind artwork that was incorporated into baskets that included a journal, a handmade card and hand painted pillow - all bright, cheerful and encouraging - which was distributed by Hearts and Crafts Counseling.

Our goal was to fill 45 baskets by December 1st and we were lucky enough to better that goal by 11! It is our wish that these baskets offer a small sense of hope and encouragement to a child in need. Just one more way that we will be helping children in our community, one child at a time...
