2ND Annual Project Hope

Project Hope, in it's second year will benefit Dr. Eric Neblung Counseling Services and Nyack Hospital's Children's Unit. The aim is to lend a hand and maybe a smile to a child in our county that found themselves in the unfortunate circumstance of losing a loved one, finding themselves in the hospital or even suffering from a psychological need.

Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Middle Schoolers, Kindergarteners, you name it, passionately created one of a kind artwork once again that was incorporated into gifts that included a journal, a handmade card and hand painted keychain - all bright, cheerful and encouraging - which was distributed by these two organizations as needed throughout the next year.

Our goal was to fill 45 baskets by December 1st and we were lucky enough to better that goal once again by 15! It is our wish that these gifts offer a small sense of hope and encouragement to a child in need. Just one more way that we will be helping children in our community, one child at a time...
